Blaise Pascal remarked that the soul's nature is so important that one must have lost all feeling not to care about the issue. In my first novel, "PSYCHONIX: Mind Over Matter" I make a robust case for consciousness and the soul as immaterial realities. It's a nostalgic and touching story about retired Special Forces Colonel Steven Scott, his metaphysical and mental health journey, and how the soul is an immaterial thing different from the body and brain.
