Let's Unify

I'm sure you won't read all of this, but it was very therapeutic for me. As an Independent I would love to unify with the Democratic Party. So, let's start here. I think that legal immigration is wonderful. There's no room for xenophobia. We should keep up our immigration policies and look for the best and the brightest, just as other nations like Canada and Japan do. It's a fact that we (USA) legally allow more than a MILLION new people into our country each year. However, sanctuary cities hiding illegal border crossers are a really bad idea for us and them. It forces them to go underground and skirt our other laws. It hurts everyone. Not to mention that we have to pay for them, when and if they go for medical care. Many don't go because they're afraid of being found out. Look, they need care. They are fellow humans. We won't turn them in or turn them away at the hospital. However, they can't vote and should never be allowed to vote until they have their day in court and have become U.S. Citizens. If they can't justify staying, then they should be sent home. There are legitimate asylum seeking reasons to allow them to stay, but those who are caught committing serious crimes should be on the fastest train out--no court.

Our borders need to be secured for our own protection and to stop desperate mobs from marching in whenever they want to. We can't support in within our welfare system. Yes, there are some good and some bad. Some really need help and some are human and drug traffickers. Would you point the criminals out for me please? No need. You can't. We have a system that screens new legal immigrants. The ones who are supposed to be here. The others shouldn't be here. Like I said, maybe they have a good reason, but you still don't just release them unchecked into the country to fend for themselves and really believe that they'll show up in court one day. They won't. They're not as stupid as some of us. And, in the meantime they'll have a hard time getting job and government benefits without lying and exposing themselves as illegal trespassers.

I believe that we should very slowly phase in mature green plans, so that we become more energy efficient and protect our environment without destroying current jobs and lives. But based on real science, not Greta Thunberg's teenage panic attacks. People with money and innovative ideas start businesses and create jobs (they're not the bad guys). You start something, besides a stupid conversation with me or a riot.

I believe that personal responsibility and accountability starts at home--for everyone. If home life is bad, then we should provide paths of opportunities for those individuals. We already do. The system isn't against you. I'm not. Everyone in our country is afforded a free public education, the ability to fill out a job application, and scholarships for those with academic dreams. I don't care who you are, if you work hard you can eventually get ahead. Stay in school, get a job, and stay married, Raise your sons and daughters, teach them well, and change the world. Not everybody has the same skills and opportunities. We are equal as human beings, but we're not guaranteed equal results. That's not how it works, nor should it. That's Communism. It has already failed the world many times over.

Stay positive and take advantages of the opportunities you have and stop being a victim. Nobody wants to be around a sourpuss. If you've made it, then help someone, regardless of their race, religion, color, or gender. Don't segregate into tribes. We are America. E Pluribus Unum. Out of many, one. Our constitution is a promissory note for everyone based largely on the ideals of a Judeo-Christian covenant.

And, finally, abortion is murder. There's no way around it. The science is clear and I hear you want to follow the science. Okay do it. It should be unconstitutional to kill unborn babies. Perhaps a compromise would be for the exceptions of rape, incest, and the life of the mother. That a good place to start and save millions of lives. Now, let's unify. Oh, what, wait a minute, you don't really want unity. You just want your relatvistic, post-modern, neo-Marxist way? You're delusional, but at least we know where you stand. Before you jump to any conclusion, yeah, sure, there are nasty political animals on both sides. This isn't about Republic or Democrat, it's about our unalienavle rights and believing in the moral laws already established by God.

You know, compromise used to be a good word for how we work together in our government. But now the buzzword is "unify," as long as you unify with whatever "they" want. Whoever "They" are. Wake up America!
