I highly recommend this book! It was not only entertaining, it was informative and even inspirational. One chapter includes an account of a character's "first day" in heaven, and it brought me to tears. It is still my favorite chapter. If you have not read this book, then what are you waiting for?
I began to connect with the characters right away. Even though fictional, the main characters share some similar time frames of life with me, and the cultural references made me feel right at home.
Although the topic is philosophical in many ways, the reader does not have to be familiar with philosophy, apologetics, or science to enjoy the book. In fact, I got so caught up in reading the story that I often lost track of time. I don't want to spoil the story, but I'll just encourage everyone to read the book. It deals with the issue of "mind" and "matter" and contrasts worldviews including naturalism and Christianity. As a fiction book, the story is engaging. As a defense of a Christian worldview, the material and references are very good and helpful. If you are looking for a sci-fi book dealing with this issue, then I cannot recommend "PSYCHONIX" enough! I hope you enjoy it half as much as I did.
