At the age of 10, I eagerly interviewed my sleepover friends with a hand held cassette recorder, as they prepared to go on stage. I pretended I was Dick Clark and they were a famous new rock group called the "Blue Bell-bottoms" ready to perform. I don't know why, but it felt natural and fun to entertain and learn about people. In Iraq I sat in a field and interviewed Soldiers on guard duty, and in Afghanistan "Outside The Wire," Japan, Korea, German, and Italy I hosted radio shows with American Forces Radio. My sense of humor and curiosity started as an young interviewer, and I've never stop asking questions and having fun.
